Customised Batteries: How to Tailor Them to Your Equipment?

Standard batteries cannot meet the space and performance requirements of all devices. The essence of a customised battery pack lies in ‘tailoring it to the device’, which involves three key aspects: cell selection, structural design and BMS configuration.
1.Cell Selection: Depending on the device’s requirements for energy density, rate capability (discharge current) and cycle life, choose between NMC (ternary lithium) or LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) cells.
2.Structural Design: Using 3D modelling software, we design customised enclosures tailored to the device’s internal space, maximising every inch of available space and optimising heat dissipation channels.
3.BMS Communication: We customise the BMS communication protocol (e.g. CAN, RS485, Bluetooth) to enable it to ‘communicate’ with the device’s main control system, thereby achieving intelligent charge and discharge management.
