SmarTEC has installed a lithium-ion battery storage system in South Africa.

SmarTEC announced that it has successfully supplied 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery to a solar installer in South Africa, which is now working well. This setup comprises a single battery unit operating alongside two solar hybrid inverters to store energy that will power household appliances.
